DCP Building

Dutch Country Players is an all-volunteer, non-profit Theatre organization which was originally organized by a small group of friends who, through their common interest, envisioned the founding of a community theatre as a "wholesome, challenging recreation outlet." DCP was incorporated in 1952 to "stimulate greater interest in Dramatic Art and Literature in the Perkiomen Valley and its vicinity; to stimulate this Dramatic Art by presentation of stage plays of various types, and to carry on an educational program to increase the interest in the Dramatic Art, Literature and the Theatre." We are  located on Route 563 (Ridge Road), one-half mile east of Route 63, near Green Lane, Pennsylvania.

If you are interested in auditioning for a play, or have an interest in any aspect of theatre production, we extend an invitation to visit us. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00 P. M. at the Playhouse. If you are not an actor/actress, but would like to get involved, we have activities such as lights and sound, stage manager, box office, or you can help us to greet patrons arriving to see a show. You may also choose to help build or paint a set, help with costumes, take tickets, or serve coffee. Help is always appreciated in any area. Stop by and visit us anytime.
